Art2Life Community Guidelines
Welcome to the Art2Life Community. This is your place to create, connect, inspire, and share with one another in a safe and respectful environment.
CARE, COMPASSION AND RESPECT
Please be thoughtful about the energy you bring to our community. When offering feedback on artwork, be honest but constructive. Share positive ideas or tips that can lead to solutions.
Critique others the way you’d like to be critiqued. Healthy debate about ideas is natural, but personal attacks are never acceptable. If you’re feeling upset about something another member has said or shared, take some time before responding. If you’re unclear about how to respond, reach out to our Support Team.
KEEP IT POSITIVE
This is a positive environment for creative support. Please don’t gossip or speak negatively about other members. If you have a challenging issue with the program, a team member, or any community member, resolve it directly via email or call. Keep it private and outside of the community. Reach out to Support at in**@******fe.com if you need assistance.
GIVE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE
Ask for what you need. If you want feedback, ask for it. If you’re stuck, ask for ideas. If you’re not getting what you need when you post, check your ask. Was it clear? Always assume positive Intent.
Give help to your fellow members. Share what you’re working on. Share when you’ve figured something out. Share your challenges and your wins. Cheer for others. Give more than you ask, and we’ll all benefit.
BE ORIGINAL
Please respect intellectual property. Do not copy, steal, or share another member’s content without permission. All content on the Art2Life websites and Artist Communities is for your personal use only. It cannot be shared outside the program or used professionally. All Art2Life content is copyrighted and unauthorized use is strictly forbidden.
NO PITCH POLICY
The purpose of this community is to share, support, and inspire each other in creating and improving our art. Please do not post advertisements, workshop/course offerings, services, book releases, or individual art for sale. (Exception: Exhibition or art show announcements are allowed.)
The Member Directory is for current members only. Do not share it with anyone outside the program or automatically add members to your newsletter or email list. Spamming or violating another member’s privacy could result in removal from the program.
If you’re uncertain whether what you’re sharing is appropriate, reach out to Support at in**@******fe.com.
DUE DILIGENCE
If you hire or create any contractual relationship with another Art2Life member, you do so at your own risk and outside the framework of this program. We recommend clear written contracts and service agreements. Art2Life and Nicholas Wilton are not responsible for any issues arising from such relationships.
24/7 ZOOM ROOMS
These spaces are designed for making art, connecting, and supporting one another in a shared creative environment.
By participating in any 24/7 Zoom room, you agree to the following:
- The Virtual 24/7 Zoom room may be recorded for security and quality assurance purposes.
- By joining the 24/7 Zoom room, you consent to being recorded while in the Zoom room.
- Please avoid sharing sensitive or confidential personal information while in the 24/7 Zoom room.
Community Conduct
The 24/7 Zoom rooms are a space for creativity, encouragement, and connection. We ask that all participation remains respectful, inclusive, and centered on art-making and inspiration.
- Inappropriate behavior, harassment, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated.
- If conversations become emotionally charged or move away from creative focus, please gently redirect back to art-making. Deeper or personal discussions should be moved to private messaging.
Accountability & Support
We approach community care with clarity and compassion.
- If behavior does not align with these guidelines, we will first reach out with a heads-up and reminder of expectations.
- If the behavior continues, we may issue additional warnings and, if necessary, take further action to protect the safety and integrity of the community.
- Continued or serious violations may result in removal from the 24/7 Zoom room or the Art2Life community.
Every artist’s journey is unique. Our shared responsibility is to help maintain a space that feels supportive, focused, and creatively nourishing for everyone.
SUBGROUP
If you form a subgroup with other members, please follow these guidelines:
- Include this disclaimer in your group description: “This group is not endorsed by any Art2Life Programs, team members, or Nicholas Wilton.”
- Do not use Art2Life, Nicholas Wilton, or any Art2Life program names in your group title.
- Do not use any Art2Life logos or images.
- Do not promote your subgroup within Art2Life communities or portals.
NEED SUPPORT?
If things aren’t going the way you hoped, reach out to Support at in**@******fe.com. We want you to have the best experience possible. Remember, this is a large group and things move fast. If you’re not getting responses, try reposting. The fastest way to build connections is to be helpful to others.
GUIDELINE VIOLATIONS
We believe everyone wants the best for each other and this program. These guidelines are in place for the greater interest of the community. If anyone repeatedly violates the guidelines, they will be removed from the program.
