2026 Retreat Reservation Deposit Policy

For select 2026 Art2Life Destination Retreats, we offered an early reservation opportunity through a refundable deposit system.

Refundable Deposit Phase

Eligible participants may secure their place at a 2026 retreat by placing a $500 refundable deposit. During this reservation phase:

• The $500 deposit is fully refundable until you select and commit to a specific room
• You may transfer your deposit to a different 2026 retreat location before selecting your room
• Your deposit remains refundable while you are considering your retreat options

Room Selection and Final Commitment

Once you select your specific room and accommodation type, your reservation becomes final and binding:

• Your $500 deposit will be applied toward your selected room’s total cost
• Upon room selection, you will choose either full payment or a 3-month payment plan for the remaining balance
• The moment you select your room and submit payment for the remaining balance (whether full payment or first installment of the payment plan), your entire retreat fee becomes non-refundable
• You are now locked into that specific retreat location and dates

Payment Plans After Room Selection

After selecting your room, you may choose:

• Pay in Full: Apply your $500 deposit plus pay the remaining balance immediately
• 3-Month Payment Plan: Your $500 deposit will be applied to the total retreat cost. The remaining balance is divided into 3 equal payments, with the first payment due upon room selection and two additional automatic payments processed 30 and 60 days after room selection

All retreat fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the retreat.

Travel Insurance Requirement

Upon selecting your room and finalizing your retreat commitment, we will provide you with information about recommended travel insurance providers. We strongly encourage you to purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately after making your room selection.

If you need to cancel your attendance after committing to a room, you must work directly with your travel insurance provider for reimbursement. Art2Life does not provide refunds once you have selected your room and submitted payment for the remaining balance.

2026 Retreat Purchase Policy

Art2Life Art Retreats are non-refundable. We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance upon reserving your spot. If you need to cancel due to an emergency or illness, you’ll need to work with the insurance companies for reimbursement–not us.

Protect your travel investments and recover nonrefundable prepaid costs if your trip is canceled or interrupted for an eligible reason.

Popular eligible reasons include:

1. Sickness, injury, or death (Of you, a traveling companion, family member, business partner, or host at destination)
2. Theft of passport or visa
3. Quarantine, hijacking, jury duty, subpoena, or kidnapping
4. Common carrier cancellation/ delay due to severe weather, mechanical breakdown, strike, or FAA mandate (5 hours)
5. Natural Disaster
6. Adverse Weather Conditions
7. A civil disorder

Art2Life is not responsible for any differences in refund amounts due to variations in currency exchange rates, or service fees incurred by your financial institution.

By purchasing a spot at an Art2Life Retreat, you are agreeing to sign a Liability Release after you make your first payment. The terms of the Liability Release are listed below in the Health and Wellness Policy.

If you do have to cancel and have received a Retreat Art Kit from A2L, you will have two options. You can return the retreat art kit to A2L, or you can purchase the kit for the full retail price, plus the cost of shipping (just click here to purchase – when you check out, be certain to write in the notes section that you already have the art kit). Health and Wellness Policy
In the event that a participant becomes ill during the retreat due to any illness, including COVID, they are solely responsible for communicating directly with the retreat venue regarding any medical needs or support. Art2Life staff are not able to provide medical assistance or coordinate healthcare on behalf of participants.

To ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees, we reserve the right to request that any participant showing signs of contagious illness isolate from group activities and communal spaces until they are no longer symptomatic. This is to protect the health of the broader retreat community and maintain a safe environment for all.

Please note all shared accommodations are co-ed unless otherwise specified. The Retreat fee covers full room and board and Art Kits. Retreat participants are responsible for incidentals not included in the price.

Spaces are reserved for those individuals who will be participating in the retreat.

Mobility Requirements
Participants must be able to independently navigate the retreat property, including walking from their accommodations to the retreat tent and other communal areas. Please note that this may involve traversing uneven terrain such as sand, hills, or gravel pathways.

If you have mobility limitations or concerns, we strongly encourage you to contact us in advance to discuss whether this retreat environment will be accessible and comfortable for you.

This retreat is not suitable for individuals with limited or impaired mobility.

Schedule of Payments for Destination Retreats 

3 Month Payment Plan
A payment of 1/3 of the retreat fee is required when you register for the retreat. The remaining two payments will be automatically deducted from your account based on the following schedule:

• 2nd payment: 30 days after signing up (2/3 of the full retreat fee)
• 3rd and final payment: 60 days after signing up (remaining balance)

2 Month Payment Plan
A payment of 1/2 of the retreat fee is required when you register for the retreat. The remaining 1/2 payment will be automatically deducted from your account 30 days after signing up (remaining balance).
