It can be hard to get into the studio when life’s challenges are in your way. However when you do it almost always helps. What is your experience?
In gratitude, Nicholas

Really good points! Just put on your apron and show up.
Deep gratitude for your heart felt sharing – Yes, so many things seem to get in the way of just putting on the apron and picking up a tool, and then when I finally put that first paint on the panel, everything seems to get better.
Thanks Karuna
just show up! Yup… only way. Sometimes just an hour in studio … and I feel better….progress or not…. I just keep showing up. Namaste!
Yes I agree
Since taking the Art2Life CVP course
I have been working in the studio every day. For the last six months I have been preparing for a show and I feel really focused and productive. I realize this is due to all the wonderful things I learned in your course Nick, New ideas that were very difficult to implement at first have gradually become more familiar and I’m not feeling the frustration that I would feel when I used to get stuck. Thank you so much! You are such a wonderful teacher.
Thanks for your honesty. I have not developed or maintained good discipline in my creative practice of late and I’m aware of the cost. Thanks for the prompt, I’ll refocus my efforts and reclaim my creative Mojo and well being along with it. For me it’s about managing the flow i have periods of intense activity and then get distracted, I’ve made commitments -external goals to work toward which I realized were key to keeping me focused and productive. May we all thrive in our creative explorations.
Hi Nicholas – I had missed this video post but the timing watching it this morning was ideal for me. Thanks!
Thanks for this, Nicholas. Just found you through Jeff Walker’s current PLF launch, and so glad I did! This post reminds me of when, years ago, it was my rule to be at my work table from 9 to noon every day, no matter what, and it was amazing how productive I became, and how that could transform any kind of stinky mood or attitude into a rich sense of fulfillment. I haven’t done my art in… at least 3 years, and I’ve realized just now that that’s a big hole in my well-being. I’m with Gordon Studer – the timing is excellent, as I am currently examining my daily, mostly unconscious choices, and the effects they have on my happiness. I shall unpack my studio today, and make a start in my art. Again, I’m so glad to meet you. Thanks for doing what you do.
Love this. That making art is the best thing that you can do when many other things get in the way.
